This song from Baabul keeps growing on you like anything......without doubt all credits should go to Sonu....he has sung this song with such a passion that no one in the industry will be able to carry off this song.....mindblowing number.....simply among the best rendered songs in Bollywood.... Hats off to Sonu.....

Agree 100% LOVEE THIS SONG. Only Sonu could've made it sound so magical. loved his lead & background vocals..beautiful. I was mad that it wasn't promoted better. Sonu definitely deserved the filmfare that year - at least nominated! he was nominated for KANK which was great too but if bawri piya was better publicized, it would've swept chand sifarish
